180° Membership Guidelines and Applications
180° is a global alliance of Christian organisations working together to improve the impact of work with street children around the world. The objectives of 180° are to encourage co ordination, sharing of resources and professional practice among street children’s organisations around the world, with the ultimate objective of achieving the vision of a world where there are no children living on the streets.
There are three types of 180° members: founding members, accredited members and members.
- Founding Membership – The organisations who are the founding members of 180° are Happy Child, Toybox, Viva, Oasis, ReTRAK and Action International. Core Founding Membership is available by invite of the 180° steering committee only. Core Founding Membership can influence and determine strategy.
- Accredited Membership – Accredited members are street children’s projects which have been accredited by 180° (see information on accreditation for more on this).
- Membership – Membership is free and open to all who agree to the declaration included in the online membership form below. Benefits of membership include regular news and prayer updates and access to restricted areas of the website such as the 180° Manual: ‘How to Set Up a Street Children’s Project’.
